Preface

Well hello there blogging world! It's been a few months and I have missed you greatly! If you don't know me and are just reading my blogs for the first time, let me start out by saying hello and introducing myself! HI! My name is Brittany (Britt). I'm was born and raised in Alabama around the Shoals area. And I'm pretty proud of that fact. I have had many opportunities thanks to this great area! I love every single thing about it. But I have also grown to appreciate the art of traveling as well. My parents were the kind to throw me into every extracurricular activity they could find and they also made sure that I appreciated it.  They were also determined to make sure my world was bigger then my zipcode. I was homeschooled through high school, and while I hated it at the time, I'm pretty happy about it now. As you will soon learn, I'm a huge fan of list. So I have decided to make a list of things you should know about me before we start our blogging journey together.... 

1. I'm a total hippie at heart. I'm all about going green, social injustice, world peace and all that good stuff. :) 

2. I'm a musician, singer-songwriter, actress. I've been on stage since I was 6 years old. :) 

3. I have two different colored eyes. One is dark brown and the other is green. 

4. I come from a family that tends to adopt stray kids. 

5. I can't go anywhere without seeing someone I know. Which leads me to the whole "It's a small world after all" topic. You see, when I started going overseas last year, people were so excited for me and kept telling me  how I would see the world as this huge place, but in reality, it's pretty small. :) 

6. Some of the best memories of my life were shared with 70 something strangers from all over the globe when I ventured on what I thought was going to be an 11 month mission trip to 11 countries but I came home early for health reasons. But if you're curious about it, it's called the world race. And it's awesome. You should totally do it and if you want to read some of my old blog entry's, go ahead.

7. I'm just now figuring what I want to be when I grow up, and it has a way of changing randomly and extremely fast. 

8. I have 2 nephews and a baby niece that I pretty much think are the BOMB. 

9. My favorite color of all time is pink. Oh yes. 

10. I'm a sucker for the breed of nerds. All nerds, you amaze me. I solute you. And I think you're amazing. :)
